This is a rare occasion (but in fact not for the first time) that I agree with RG. I admire Corbyn's honesty, and to a great extent also his principles (although I personally differ with his views on business and taxation ). But he has not provided the leadership that we need - particularly now. He was less than wishy washy over Brexit. He has not built a viable team nor held the support of his party. Of course - he is vilified by the press - so we have to take much of his public image with a pinch of salt. But I fear that we are back to the Thatcher years - where she got away with much of the damage she did because of a weak opposition. Just a personal view! (Some of my friends love him). |
