Yes, in practice this does happen if there is a complex chain. The vendor may require the agent to keep the sign up until the transaction is fully complete - they may do this to keep pressure on the buyer to complete. The requirement to remove the board by law only comes into affect on completion not at the point a sale is agreed. It seems to me unlikely that a sign would remain outside a property 5 months after a sale has completed because the new owner would request its removal. The main problem with flyboarding occurs at sites slightly away from properties where it is ambiguous what home the sign relates to. These are often placed in areas with high levels of traffic passing by. My observation is that Thorgills boards are not typically seen at such locations. |
