| The builder/decorators normally charge by the day because the work should take x amount of days. It is unlikely you will get a builder on a daily rate for the jobs the op wants doing. Unless they had previously carried out work for them or there is a chance they will get more work, as it's for the end of tenancy work the chance of more work is not likely. |
