ours went missing a few times too and not at collection time rumour has it they are popular with builders for moving rubble, sand etc as they are very sturdy and also possibly to do with identity theft i.e. fraudsters looking to see if people disposed of unshredded mail incl junk mail or 'interesting' papers/invoices/statements it would often take a good while and a number of chase up emails to get a replacement from the council and we used a blue IKEA bag in the meantime last time it went missing i found an abandoned one in the middle of the road a day after collection day, with no number written on it and no idea where it might belong to so i considered it to be me being good and picking up the 'litter' and 'rehoming' it :0) |
