| I left home this morning humming Eagles songs, and read in the Metro that Dale Griffin had died, also at the age of 67, so ended up humming Mott the Hoople songs. I saw the Eagles in an open-air concert in Ottawa in 1978, but the only time I was due to see Mott the Hoople my car packed in en route on the M1. The afterlife is assembling a pretty decent band this January. RIP to all of them. |
