I endorse Cllr Sam Hearn's comments and am interested to see that the developers are proposing to make a representation NEXT TUESDAY (my capitals- be there if you can) for the Golden Egg Tower. Unfortunately, in the customarily detailed Agenda, there seems to be no backup documentation at all from the developers to advise the public or Councillors, to help them ask informed questions of the development team. Anyone who has tried to wade through the endless (usually untitled) PDFs plonked on the Planning Dept pages on the LB of H website will know how near-impossible it is to sift through the chaff of verbiage to find the few illustrations that might give a hint of the final version of the latest monstrosity. CF: the Kew Bridge Stadium development, whose full ugliness is only now being revealed. Many thanks to the ChiswickW4.com Editor for having done this on our behalf on the front page, but could I please ask Cllr Hearn, who chairs the Forum, to request some briefing documents for the attending public, or indeed for those unable to attend? Miss the meeting and you may never know what the developers said or showed. The Forum discussions are as compact as possible, but Councillors are allowed much more time than the public to pose questions, while the overhead projector is often less able to communicate the essence of the design than a simple few pages on PDF which could sum up the developers' intentions. And frankly, if they can't sum up the essence of their project in a few well-illustrated pages they're keeping something from us.
