Well done The Isleworth Society for managing to get the area designated "an asset of community value" even if it won't prevent planning permission being applied for. What the article doesn't mention is the horrendous traffic problems locally soon to be exacerbated by the proposed Green School for Boys, two others up the road in Osterley, and that's without the existing local schools! Wouldn't it be a delicious irony if the Duke's plans are turned down because of highway/traffic considerations caused by the muppets of Hounslow Council? |
