I had a series of problems when my local feeder started flashing over between phases about every 20 minutes, putting huge mains surges around the area, repeatedly switching off the street lighting and the traffic lights. They "fixed" the problem by moving one of the phases until the local transformer had to be replaced and the cable had to be repaired. I lost several elctrical items. Can you show that your equipment was damaged by mains surges, or did old equipment normally left on 24/7 just fail to switch on again? |
