Check whether your local cabinet is in a conservation area, in which case council planning permission may be required to modify or replace the cabinet. A totally business area in Park Royal has been begging BT to link their local cabinet to the BT fibre that has been in position between them and their cabinet for a few years. The response from BT was to only offer fibre to the premises at a few thousand pounds per company. They have now contracted an independant company to install a fibre with local distribution and have terminated their BT contracts. BT then appeared to offer FTTC. TOO LATE! |
