The point is Paul, a Council can't enforce every single sentence of an Inspector's decision notice. Also, advertisement consents are completely different to planning permissions in that conditions are attached to planning permissions, including the standard condition that the development shall be completed in accordance with specific plan numbers. Such conditions aren't imposed upon advertisement consents. Furthermore, from what another poster has indicated, the sign is advertising Lucozade (although it isn't clear whether the sign is advertising Lucozade all the time, or on a regularly rotating basis with another advertisement). And if you look at the relevant application on Hounslow's website you will note that the supporting documentation makes it clear that the display will regularly change, and nowhere does it say the display will only advertise Lucozade. |
