But the point is Paul that, as I explained in my post, this was solely about a technical point as to whether or not an EIA was strictly required, nothing more nothing less, so I do think there's a degree of mischief making to try and link that to the possible public objections. When I have to establish precisely what the technical composition of an application needs to be, whether to do so may or may not hand a propaganda coup to those minded to oppose the development is something I couldn't give a damn about, because that isn't relevant to that specific aspect of my role, in that respect my role is solely to ensure that the application comprises all of the information needed to ensure the application is validated. What I'm saying is there's a time when my role involves considering the public reaction, and there's a time when my role is a solely technical one. But reading your post to me anyone would reasonably conclude you're trying to mix up the two to the detriment of myself or my then client. And no, I don't like it, because I play with a straight bat. |
