| The old town is a must and amongst the churches the Dom has an organ which was once the largest in Europe. The opera house is world renowned and there is a large area of art nouveau buildings, in one of which Sergei Eisenstein was born. The Central Market is a fabulous building which was originally Zeppelin sheds and outside the centre I gather Jurmala beach resort is worth a visit. |
