Deep joy. I got my letter this morning. Having a wheelie bin doesn't bother me that much,in fact I have larger one already tucked neatly against my holly hedge but I do agree they are small particularly if collection is bi-weekly. In my letter it did not say anything about bi-weekly collection so is this a fact? Can someone confirm this or not? What did strike me about the letter was the following; Do I really need to see a full colour picture of our Deputy Leader over breakfast which would only add to the expense of an otherwise one colour print? Smacks of self glorification of a one leader banana state to me. Mr Mann tells me he will write to me again two weeks before my bin is delivered. Why? Why can't he just explain it all in this letter and save the rate payer double the expense? A sheet come with it saying the letter contained important information expressed in 15 different languages . Very nice I am sure unless you are French or Spanish for example which I hear spoken all the time in London. A strange exclusion. Does Mr Mann think, well I don't know, what does he think about people whose mother tongue is not English? Finally, I hate people that sign off 'thank you for your co-operation'. You vill co-operate von't u? Yes, dear Deputy Leader, off course I will.....erm. |
