I have varifocal glasses but not mono focal lenses. I have 2 optician's shops, one I trust for frames choice and advice, the other more locally  for standard lenses. I'm not recommending one practitioner because although I have various eye problems, I don't have experience in your exact needs. I would advice going into all the local shops ( it's probably only 5 on CHR) and discussing your needs. You'll see where you feel most comfortable with the advice suggested, and who takes the time to real through options.
But stick with your current ophthalmologist, if you can, someone who knows your eyes well spots problems immediately, I have found.
