| Same in my local park - plus pasta, old takeaway food (plus human excrement which my dogs seem to find especially compelling). If my dog gets to any of the food before I do we are in for diarrhoea and/or sickness from them the next morning, usually all over the floor when I come down - lovely. Diarrhoea can last for days once they have eaten something like that, and they no doubt have tummy ache too. There is someone near where I live who leaves raw chicken and the remains of her dinner down at intervals along the pavement and in the park at night for the foxes. So we are inundated with them. One old, thin one seems to have some kind of 'rage' - it may just be driven mad with hunger - but when my dogs see it through the window and bark he runs up the path to try to get to them and knocked my window box off the other day trying to get at the dogs through the glass - it was quite frightening. I don't mind foxes but they shouldn't be encouraged to be in towns and I have never seen one behave so aggressively before. |
