| They are resurfacing the eastbound carriageway of the A4 from Harvard Road to Sutton Court Road, As of this morning they had completed one stretch from near Sutton Lane North to just short of the Sutton Court Road traffic lights. I don't know if they plan to do more tonight and tomorrow, but the work is taking place only between 22:00 and 05:00. This afternoon I had a reply to my e-mail to TfL Customer Services which - acknowledged that the briefing letter was not clear on several points, - explained that the work would be done only at night, using lane closures, - explained that the diversion via SCR and Barrowgate Road was only for access to Sutton Lane North during its closure, - explained that access to Grove Park is via Hogarth Roundabout, and that diversions are signed during the works, - promised to investigate why the works are not on the TfL Status Update page, - apologised (three times) for the lack of clarity in the letter to residents. Hopefully, they'll have learned some lessons before the next such project. |
