Russell, I don't think CHRAG's 'kicking up a stink' has anything to do with the non-appearance of the announced CHR Picturehouse.  I've just spent more than half an hour wearily trawling through the original thread on this and found an informative posting from, I think, Gordon McDonald, explaining that the developers (Lend Lease? London & Colonial? I'm not going through that thread again) had originally purchased a site for a six-floor luxury apartment block next door to the deserted Rambert building when they discovered that the Rambert building itself was actually   still up for grabs, and pounced. I may have simplified it, but that's apparently causing the delay in any sort of statement from the Picturehouse organisation.
