| I've now seen the full text of the briefing note from TfL that this site's news item, and it is more or less what the editor reported, except that the news item mentions A4 traffic being diverted which gives the impression that the A4 might be closed at some times. The TfL document only mentions lane closures on the A4 and the closure of Sutton Lane North. It's not clear how Barrowgate Road would be part of any diversion route, as it won't be possible to access it via Sutton Lane North if that road is closed, unless they are just referring to local access to properties at the western end of Barrowgate Road. I've sent a list of 5 queries to TfL Customer Service including what route will be signed for Grove Park traffic, and why the project doesn't appear under Traffic/Future/A4 on TfL's Status Update page. |
