That is the problem. The puk code is to carry the phone number to another network. The replacement phone has a IMEI number that does not relate to the original phone and contract and will be the reason vodafone will not unlock the phone. This stops people contacting phone networks to get any phone unlocked because they have a contract with them. Basicaly its the phone IMEI that does not tally with the original contract due to phone being replaced. I sugest you explain your replacement with Apple and cross your fingers |
