'I see your point JP, but they could have asked Susan to take off her coat and then searched her pockets no?' Which is precisely what happened at the Queen's Gallery earlier that day. The new Dutch Masters exhibition there is well worth a visit, BTW. I clearly recall having my pockets searched at the National Gallery over 30 years ago when, in more innocent times, all we were afraid of was the IRA. |
