| Michael had been a governor at Lampton School since the 1980s and attended his last meeting only weeks ago. Despite having moved to Southampton he was incredibly conscientious about attendance at meetings and indeed went far above and beyond the call of duty in all his commitments as vice-chair of the governing body. He worked particularly hard on behalf of students with special educational needs - the Speech and Language Centre at Lampton bears his name as a testimony to his championship of SEN. He will be very much missed. |
