| This thread has changed, as many do, from the original intention so maybe a new one would be sought. But those asking Sam to take a look forget that people focused on a particular agenda are often blind to everything else. Sam, you can't not have seen the stories in the press and on Facebook about the number of people who died (hundreds) within a few weeks of being judged fit to work, including one man who had had four heart attacks including a couple of recent ones being denied benefits. It is disgraceful what this country is doing to the sick. The poor are another issue - if you are well you can generally find some work to get by. If you are sick or elderly you can't, and are genuinely vulnerable. Shame on the government for targetting the sick, and cutting hugely meals on wheels (meaning elderly barely eat and have no other contact), social centres etc etc. It is an utter travesty. |
