Dear Ann Williams Sorry not to have got back to you sooner. I stupidly got otherwise engaged in something interesting. Although I remember occasions, many years ago, when you drove me to distraction – I can honestly say it gives me no pleasure taking old ladies to task. Even when they're determinedly rude, utterly bigoted and quite wicked in their various ways. So I'll be as perfectly nice to you as you deserve. Who on earth are these WE people you refer to three times in one paragraph? This is a hugely read forum. Do you speak for everyone? Secondly your “Here we go again” - beginning. And your purposely warped claim that I am baiting Claire Moran. Did you actually read her opening post on her own thread “Come on Guys”? And did you read her posting at 22.02 last night on the Paris Attack thread? Because I did. I read them this morning because someone sent me and E-mail advising me to take a look. Claire Moran initiated this. And whilst I'm quite happy (as ever) to tease her to shreds, I simply won't take twisted interjections from the like of you. Based not upon the clear facts – but on your simmering and ugly desire to wreak petty revenge for exchanges that took place between us long long ago. You don't know Claire Moran. She may well be your new friend and "partner in forum abuse" - but you do not know the nasty sad little woman that she is. And you don't know me. And you're not the “voice of the people”. So please Ann Williams – you mind your own business and I'll mind mine. SK |
