| Councillors voted 1. To extend the Grove Park CPZ to include Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield Road, Eastbourne Road, Elmwood Road, Lawford Road, Milnthorpe Road and Staveley Road (between Park Road and Sutton Court Road). 2. To begin detailed design CPZ consultation for a new ‘stand- alone’ CPZ with residents and businesses in Strand on the Green. Geraldine Road, Hearn Road, Meade Close, Oliver Close, Pyrmont Road, Ship Alley, Spring Grove, Strand on the Green (Nos. 20-72 evens and Nos. 21-109 odds only), Thames Road (Nos. 24-140 evens and Nos. 1-59 odds) and Waldeck Road. 3 To incorporate Sutton Lane South in the Grove Park CPZ. 4. To carry out an extra consultation in the streets west of Sutton Court Road and north of the Hounslow Loop line in view of the consequences for them of the extension of the Grove Park CPZ. 5. It was accepted that there was little support for a CPZ in the area south of the Hounslow Loop line and east of the District Line. Similarly in the area comprising Sutton Court Road south of Lawford Road and Burlington Lane. There was much discussion of the plight of Wolseley Gardens and North St Mary's Grove, streets heavily affected by over parking but not being included in immediate plans for a CPZ. Several people argued for a more closely focused consultation of the streets north of Gordon Road and south of the A4. |
