| Andy beat me to it: The restriction is you can only enter if the exit is clear. So if going straight ahead and traffic ahead is queing back, then you need to wait. Similarly, it turning right it is OK to enter if your exit is clear, even if you are forced to wait for oncoming traffic or other vehicles turnign right. But if your exit was blocked at point of entry, you are committing an offence. With the right turn it may become a grey area if the exit becomes blocked and you find yourself stranded. |
