Louise, that is exactly what Protectapuss do, plus they plug up any little holes top and bottom, put skirts around tree trunks etc. Certainly anyone can do it but the guy there makes his own brackets that come from the fence into the garden that the netting is draped over - it may be possible to get those big flexible lightweight brackets elsewhere but personally I don't know where. He knows exactly how far you need to put the netting and all the little ways cats can get round it, having had cats who were escape artists himself. I am certain it is possible to do it yourself but for the sake of a few hundred pounds that could be in place for some 20-30 years I thought it was good investment, particularly when you have multiple cats (no relation etc etc) |
