I agree Susan.

I don't think that enough consideration is given to the fact that the number of staff are not always enough to give all the care and consideration that could be given at home with the additional of regular family attention. 

I don't believe that the elderly or infirm are often given all the time and help that they need to be happier and to take part in activities.  It always seems to rushed.  This is why it would be good if there were more visits from volunteers and offers from choirs, musicians and theatre groups to visit.  There were many choirs who practised wartime songs recently.
