Does your sound bar have audio jack in. If so all you need is a jack to jack. If its to the tv over hdmi then just get a dock connector and connect the HDMI cable from dock to TV.

Dont bother with apple products for this as its just a connector and your save around 30 quid.

Link below shows one but you might need to look for one that is for your model. Just plug the dock into you ipad product and then connect the HDMI cable from dock into TV.
