| This morning we braved the disgusting weather to traverse to darkest Chiswick to purchase a Christmas Calendar. Seeing this publicised on the forum gave me an idea. My (much) older sister turns 80 this December. Not only does she still remember Chiswick fondly after 50 odd years down under, she was married in St Albans Church in 1957, where I too was christened and confirmed. As the proceeds for this lovely calendar are going to St. Albans I thought this would be a very appropriate birthday surprise for my sister, with some seasonal flowers of course. So this will be flying off to Oz next month and I know she will love it. |
