Just called my Doctor Surgery (W4 GP's) and tried to make a non-emergency appointment and was told I had to call on Monday when I could make an appointment for 1-2 weeks time. I asked why couldn't I make an appointment now and was told that they don't have any non-emergency appointments but they will on Monday. However, if I were to call at either midday today or 8pm tomorrow morning I could make an emergency appointment - I know I'm both blonde and 65 years old (so a double whammy on reasons to be stupid) but can anyone explain the logic of how a Doctor's Surgery operates their appointment system? |
