Councillor Hearn, What you are forgetting is that the new 'revised' hours for doctors is that doctors will not be able to meet purely and simply because of the nature of their jobs It's not like being able to say like you and countless others, ah well I have done my work for the day, I am going home now. Far from it after initially accessing patients, waiting for results, other cases coming in, looking at the results of initial results of the aforesaid tesrs making on the spot decisions the shift will have gone far beyond its allotted time. I suggest that you as a councillor attend  Charing Cross A&E for a minimum of one weeks observation to understand just what a hospital doctors life is all about.
