Individuals are usually fine as long as they are recommended - eg on here (not self-recommendations, I tried one who posted on here in response to a message I posted on here and despite taking up references it was an absolute disaster and I realised she was just 'working' to get a work record in order to claim benefits/credits...long story).
But apart from that, the people I have been recommended on here and who I have taken references for from other forum users have been really good, one was with me for eight years, and my current one must have been for around three, so please don't write off individuals. I have heard horror stories about agencies too. |
