You probably need to re associate the key fob with the immobiliser after battery change. Method depends on model of car. Some do need to go to dealer to have this done. Take your log book and ID. Should cost around 15. Sometimes it's simply a case of pressing a couple of buttons in car like the door lock and then on key fob in a certain order. Do a google for
Renault sync immobiliser key fob. You might get answer for your model
