At TKMAXX today I saw men's jumpers with the following labels on them:- Kensington Dockside Hardy Amies, 14 Savile Row, London Jack Russell, Oakham, England Private White Nigel Hall William Hunt, Savile Row Paul Costelloe, 40 Savile Row Kensington Eastside Jack & Jones Notice anything? All lovely traditional English names and associated with fine English tayloring. BUT all this stuff is made in CHINA. How do they get away with this? The brand names and addresses, where shown, are deliberately misleading. Does this still fall under the Trade Descriptions Act? |
