So now the development is bigger but primarily residential. I don't really have a problem with the block. We do need new homes building. But what leaps out from this is the lack of parking ! How can a developer propose a building with 800 residents and businesses and only provide 110 parking spaces for the whole site ? Given the residents will probably have 400 plus cars, where are they all meant to park ? How can a building that will create so much traffic, be given permission if it doesn't provide anywhere near enough space for parking ? |
