Dear all we are trying as a community to get the footbridge between Herbert gardens and Deans Close lit and have been fighting for this for a number of months with various parties yet to take responsibility for this. A meeting has been set up with Ruth Cadbury & Councillor Paul Lynch this Saturday 24th October at 3pm on the footbridge. We need to have as many local residents and footbridge users at this meeting as possible . The more of us there are , the greater the impact we can make and the weightier our argument , therefore the more influential we will be . The idea is to take Ruth up on the footbridge , explain what we want and why we want it . Also to tell her about some of the incidents that have occurred in the neighbourhood and some of the dangerous characters who reside close by . Numbers are crucial . Please come and bring with you as many people as possible : neighbours , any visiting friends or relatives and children . Many thanks
