Re Bobby Osborne: "always enjoy an outing to Griffin Park and will be there on the 30th of October when they host my beloved QPR.. looking down at the terraces from the VIP wooden seats is like watching old black and white footage of the anthropological experiments of Joseph Mengele" A QPR fan disparaging the view/facilities at GP is more than a bit rich, when you consider how much money has been spent/squandered on his club, and how much revenue has accrued from being in the Prem etc, and then look at what an over-priced, outdated dump Loftus Road is. For away fans in particular, the "restricted view" seats are scandalous. Meanwhile, the lesson from Brentford is: 1. Buy a Season Ticket - excellent value, even including a buy-back scheme for sell-out games you cannot attend (eg QPR); Alternatively: 2. Become a Member - allows priority booking at the lowest available prices; Alternatively: 3. Purchase your ticket in advance (up to 4pm day before), online, by phone or in person. All of the above offer access to the lowest cost tickets, with priority booking etc. Of course, if you just roll up on the day, you'll likely still get in (though maybe not in your preferred spot), but you'll end up paying the highest ticket price for that particular game. As for "Brentford being more expensive than Arsenal" - complete balls... |
