Acupuncture, along with other ancient wisdoms such as yoga and fasting have been practised for thousands of years and predates Western medicine.. I have experiential proof that is works after visiting a Chinese acupuncturist to treat an eye infection that i picked up whilst travelling in India. Antibiotics had not worked so I resorted to needles being put in my eyelids. It sounded like torture but I didn't feel a thing other than a little prick (titter ye not!). Guess what? My eye recovered after meridian channels were cleared of blockages. May have been lucky or placebo. But if I ever get ill my first port of call is always alternative treatment, normally nutritional or holistic, rather than visiting the quack GP to get drugs.. |
