I still enjoy watching the programme, but solely for comedy value, and even then it is becoming so predictable that the humour wears off after a while. I like Claude Littner, but his 'nasty' persona (invented by the producers) is going to become tiresome as an aide, unlike Nick Hewer who had/has far more depth to his persona as an aide. Only caught afew minutes of You're Fired but I felt there was no atmosphere coming across whatsoever, the set is awful and how I wish Dara was still fronting the show. Ultimately any lingering 'credibility' is being rapidly diminished by the fact that many of the candidates simply want their 15 minutes of fame and go from the Apprentice to the 'dregs' of reality TV like 'Celebrity' Big Brother and such like. |
