While on the subject of alternative treatments, when oh when will this blinkered government see sense and allow Cannabis to be prescribed for treatment of pain.Compared to regular treatments,it costs very little, but for me,it is completely effective at relieving severe pain. The NHS is happy to supply me with 28 packets of Morphine tablets per month at a cost of over £100 per packet, but could probabaly supply a years Cannabis treatment for much less than 1 months Morphine supply. The side effects of large Morphine doses are terrible. It's sometimes better to put up with the pain and not take the Morphine.Even the doctors in the pain clinic told me they were longing for the day they are allowed to prescribe Cannabis. It would make so many peoples lives much easier. |
