| Following the thread on wood flooring in August and the various recommendations for Terry Fitch of Wood Unlimited, I contacted him. Terry came on time and we discussed the options from solid or engineered, width of boards, finish and colour. His quote was fair and the date settled for my hall to be done in engineered oak. Scott came to do the woodwork (only room for one at a time to work in the narrow space), to be followed by Carl who sanded, oiled and polished to perfection. I was so pleased I spotted the thread with all the recommendations and even more pleased with the result. It was not the easiest job with 5 doors to cut in and around and butting up to carpet in some rooms but the work is perfect and I am delighted it was hassle free and worth it. Thanks to the Forum |
