| "The "game" is well understood by most people. The Developer puts a mega-scheme out for public consultation and in parallel discusses its plans with the Council's Planning Officers. A planning application emerges from this process and the Developer claims, that for better or worse, they have taken into account input from both the public and the Planning Department. Only when there is a formal application on the table can the real discussions begin." Well put Sam. Unfortunately conspiracy theorists of the Corcoran variety just don't get it. |
