"Richard when you visit the TfL site and click on 'This Weekend' from the front page you don't get any indication that works are taking place. Only by clicking 'This Weekend' again from the tab above the initial display do you see an indication that the District Line might be closed." Yes, you get different information on the Status Updates page depending which route you take to it!  I'm trying to get clarification from TfL via Twitter.
