| Richard when you visit the TfL site and click on 'This Weekend' from the front page you don't get any indication that works are taking place. Only by clicking 'This Weekend' again from the tab above the initial display do you see an indication that the District Line might be closed. The closure was not mention in the information given in the Chiswick newsletter last weekend and there doesn't seem to be any indication at the platform that work is taking place. Therefore, I'm inclined to believe that this is a phantom piece of engineering work so I might risk the prospect of a replacement bus rather than driving and being restricted to one small glass of wine at lunch! |
