If we don't get the go ahead for a JR, this part of Chiswick will be irrevocably changed for ever and, imo, for the worse. Clearly there is a need for more housing and I support that concept, but not to the detriment and expense of the existing community - how many of you would be able to afford a home in this scheme or at, say, Chiswick Gate? The density at Empire House scheme is too much, and the visual appearance of this 'white' monstrosity does not fit in with the existing landscape and skyscape of this part of Chiswick. Those are my thoughts - what are yours? |
