Lawson's opposition to the fight against global warming sounds so plausible when he speaks, unless you know that lots of his fundamental arguments are either flawed or simply not true (and he knows that).
I expect him to bring the same reasoning to the in/out debate - which won't help anyone to make a sensible decision based on the facts.
