| Last night I was watching TV and listening to this kindly old bearded cove banging on about the balance of payments deficit. For a moment I thought that they were re-running the excellent Life on Mars series and that this was a clip of a 1970s politician providing some period "colour". Is anyone else concerned about the balance of payments? Is anyone more concerned about BOP than the deficit in Government Finances? I would be grateful if anyone responding to this thread would state for the record whether or not they have been on a foreign holiday in the last two years and/or drive a foreign made car and/or works with (or employs) a foreign national who remits money "home". |
