Sarah is asking for donations in a controversial area, and seems curiously reluctant to name the organisation(s) she is collecting for. The one organisation that has been identified as a beneficiary seems on the face of it to not be a recognised charitable body and has a website which is lacking the sort of information one would expect to see from such a body - details of its governance, funding, accounts, etc. There is no witch-hunt - Sarah or Hans could easily settle the matter by explaining the bona fides of the organisation(s) on whose behalf they are soliciting donations. One hopes they have checked them out before launching their campaign, and therefore should have the knowledge to answer the question. The point is, why don't they do so ? |
