You should bear in mind that only one in five of these so called "refugees" is from Syria. The other refugees come from Pakistan, Nigeria, Bangladesh, etc. They are economic migrants. If the UK policy is to allow anyone from a poorer country with a lower standard of living to come here, then the UK should be prepared to accept at least 10 to 20 million refugees. Do we really have sufficient schools, hospitals, jobs, housing and infrastructure to cope with this massive increase? Who will pay for all of this? We have a 1.6 trillion pound debt, and we are paying 46 billion pounds annual interest on this debt. Should we not be trying to reduce this debt and annual interest? The refugees only want to settle in Countries which have high benefits, that are easy accessible. Why? I thought they would be happy to settle in any country that is not war ravaged. What hypocrisy. Why are there so few women refugees? Are they not also suffering from the war? By giving donations, are we not encouraging more potential refugees to come, with more potential drownings? The awful drowning of those two boys was caused by boats being overloaded(by unscrupleless gangsters),not by any country not accepting refugees. If we really want to stop these drownings, we should send ships to Libya to collect all these refugees and give them refuge in the UK. Why are we not doing that? Why do the refugees not want to settle in France? Are we offering better benefits than France? Please use your head as well as your heart. |
