Where Terminal 5 now stands there was once a unique two and a half mile long Neolithic processional way sometimes called the Stanwell Cursus. This was the second largest cursus ever found in the UK.

What do you think the locals thought about the building of a new cursus? Do you think it went something like this?


"Of those polled, a third said they did not believe Britain’s existing cursus capacity should be increased.

So 30% of the remaining two-thirds (those who believe the UK needs more processional way capacity), in other words 20% of those polled, back a new cursus."
